Socio-Economically Disadvantaged Groups (SEDG) Cell

The SEDG Cell is dedicated to ensuring equity, inclusion, and empowerment of students from economically and socially weaker sections.

Objectives

• Provide academic, financial, and psychological support.

• Create awareness about scholarships, concessions, and welfare schemes.

• Organize counseling, workshops, and career guidance.

• Foster inclusive learning and student participation in all activities.

Activities

• Assistance in SC, BC, Minorities, Meritorious scholarship

• Helped the students through financial aid under scheme Earn While You Learn

• Awareness drives viz Nasha Mukti (drug awareness), Literacy Awareness via Rallis etc. on welfare initiatives.

• Skill development and employability programs by Placement cell under Entrepreneurship Pakhwada.

• Mentorship and counseling support by mentor mentee cell.
