Barwala is a rural area. As a result of the public welfare policies of the Haryana Government, this higher education institution was established on 31 July 1993 in the primary school located in the premises of the Government Senior Secondary School. Before the establishment of this higher education, the students here had to go to the higher education institutions of Ambala, Panchkula and Narayangarh at a distance of 25 to 30 kilometers to study. At present, the college has three coursesĀ - Arts, Science, Commerce and one Professional course BCA.
The college has very qualified and experienced staff. The college also has a good library. Under the policies of Haryana Government, every student can take computer education. Many types of councils, cultural and sports councils have been formed in the college. Through which efforts are made to identify and highlight the hidden talents of the students. These councils are a means of all-round development of the students.The college has an active National Service Scheme Unit which is a medium for the development of social work.To encourage poor and deserving students, the college provides scholarship facility.
