Nukkad Natak(on drug addiction)

An excellent street play was organized by the National Service Scheme Unit and the Dramatic Society of the college under the guidance of Dr. Hemant Verma on 11 March 2024 in Government College, Barwala, Panchkula. In this program, 'Mehtab Art Club' made students aware about drug addiction through drug maze.
Awareness was spread on important topics of drug prevention and mental health through street plays. In this program, Dr., Clinical Psychologist of General Hospital, PanchkulaAnu Bansal, Health Inspector Dr. Gurmeet from Primary Health Center Barwala Panchkula, and Dr. Ankita guided the students.
Dr. Hemant Verma praised the street play and in his message he told how we can make our society aware about the diseases caused by drugs and make our young generation aware about health. The Dramatic Society and National Service Scheme Cell of the college were congratulated by the Principal for organizing it.
140 students from the college enthusiastically watched this street play and it created awareness about mental health and drugs. Besides, other academic and non-academic members of the college were present on the occasion. Dr. Anoop welcomed the team and Dr. Ranbir thanked the team wholeheartedly for creating awareness about drug addiction
