Inter District IT Fest

Taking an important step towards promoting technical skills and academic harmony, Government College Barwala, Panchkula successfully organized the Inter college IT Fest "Tech Junction" on 28 February 2024 under the able leadership of Principal Dr. Hemant Verma. But there was the dignified presence of chief guest Dr. Saravjit Kaur, Principal, Government College Ahadwala Bilaspur, Yamunanagar and special guest Professor Dr. Sunil Taneja, Government College Ahadwala Bilaspur, Yamunanagar. The inspiring words of Dr. Saravjit Kaur and Professor Sunil Taneja added another layer of intellectual richness to the event. In the technology competition, Mr. Aman Kalyan, Project Manager, Mr. Amit Sharma, Programmer and Mr. Vinay Jain, Senior Network Engineer from IT Cell of Higher Education Department played the role of judges. Vinay Jain and Aman Kalyan ji also encouraged all the participants with their words. Tech Junction included five attractive and intellectually stimulating competitions such as IT Quiz, PPT Making, Poster Making, Debugging and Speech Competitions. In these programs, students of various government colleges of Panchkula and Ambala displayed their skills. In the IT quiz, Hitesh and Anshul of Government College, Narayangarh stood first while in Potter Making, Prashant of Government College, Kalka won. Government College, Shahzadpur. Kanika stood first in speech and Yogesh of Government College, Barwala, Panchkula won the debugging competition. The competition of PPT making was won by Shubham and Divya of Government College, Sector 1, Panchkula. On this occasion, Principal Professor Hemant Verma congratulated all the winners and He encouraged all the other participants. He congratulated all the professors of the computer department of the college including Prof. Kompal, Prof. Neeraj Rohilla, Prof. Sandhya, Prof. Namrata for the successful organization of this technology session.
