National Communal Harmony Week

National Communal Harmony Week was celebrated in Government College Barwala, Panchkula from 19 to 25 November under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Hemant Verma. On this occasion, various activities like essay competition, debate competition, painting competition were organized. The essay competition was organized by Aman, Assistant Professor of Economics. In which eight students participated. Hari Om BA 3rd year secured first position. Sachin BA first year got second position and Anu third year got third position. The role of the jury was played by Dr. Anup Kumar, Sandhya and Seema Grewal. The debate competition was organized by Neeraj Rohilla, Assistant Professor Computer Science. In which four teams participated, Ravi Chhetri's team got the first position. The role of the jury was played by Dr. Aparna Sharma, Assistant Professor, Commerce Department and Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Chemistry Department. On this occasion, Dr. Ranveer Singh inspired the students to live with brotherhood and harmony in the society. Painting competition was organized by Veenu Saini, Assistant Professor Computer Science, in which 12 students participated, first place went to Vandana BCA first year, second place to Prashant BCA first year and third place to Amit BCA second year. The role of the jury was played by Dr. Namrata and Dr. Neeraj. On this occasion, students and staff members voluntarily collected Rs 1260 and donated it to NFCH. This organization spends money for the education of orphans, victims of riots, victims of violence and terrorism. On this occasion, unity and harmony stickers were distributed among the staff and members. The Principal thanked all the students for this social work and inspired them to live harmoniously in the society and maintain the unity and integrity of the nation. On the occasion, all the winning students were honored with certificates.
