Seven -day NSS camp

Government College Barwala, Panchkula organized a Seven day-night NSS camp under the guidance of Principal Dr. Hemant Verma from 15 February 21 February 2024. This excellent event was inaugurated by Dr. Anup Kumar and various important guests.
During the camp, Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Dr. Jagbir Singh, Dr. Ranveer Singh, Dr. Gurmeet, Dr. Anu, Dr. Chhavi Kiran, Ankita, Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Shekhar, Navneet, Dr. Daljeet Singh, Dr. Neha , Dr. Vikram and Dr. Brijpal shared their shared knowledge in the college and guided the children. Along with this, NSS volunteers evaluated the exact condition of slum area of Barwala village and made the children aware about the importance of education.
Also became part of the programs of plantation and cleaning of the park in the camp premises. Dr. Anoop Kumar and Ms. Seema Grewal successfully conducted a seven-day camp with NSS authorization from Boys and Girls Unit, in which hundred students participated, including 50 girls and 50 boys.
Among NSS Best Volunteer Girls, Nisha, BA Final Year student, and Prabhat, B.Sc. Second Year among Boys were honored with the award. Harpreet Kaur, BA Final Year, NSS Field Work Volunteer Girls, and Madhav, BCA First Year, Boys, Boys were also awarded. NSS Appreciation Award was given to Khushboo, BSc Second Year in Girls and Sachin, BA Second Year in Boys.
This seven-day camp took a step towards a positive change in the field of social service and education, thereby improving the "Dedication and Service spirit of the children."
