Amritsar Tour

Travelogue – Amritsar Tour Amritsar tour from 9th to 10 January was a memorable and educational experience for all the students. Amritsar, a city rich in cultural and historical significance, offered a unique blend of spirituality, history, and vibrant traditions. The journey commenced from our College. All students reached in college till 8 am along with our Professors Dr Ranbir, Mr Arman, Dr Namrata, Dr Parveen Dr Rakesh. Worthy Principal Dr Hemant Verma interacted with students through video call and gave his blessing and told them students to enjoy a lot. Our journey now begins- We took our breakfast at Shivalik Dhaba (Balachaur) and enjoyed tasty food and delicious tea. On 9th January we visited The Wagah Border. The ceremony was a spectacle that left a lasting impression on the students. The vibrant energy, patriotic fervour, and synchronized drills by the border security forces showcased the unity and pride of both India and Pakistan. After seeing the wagah border ceremony we started to raise slogan Hindustan Jindabad. Bharart Mata Ki Jai. It was a unique experience for all of us. Others people also followed us and raise slogans like us. This was the best part of our life. After that we reached our destination around 6 30 pm. It was only one km away from golden Temple a sacred Sikh shrine. After this we visited Golden Temple around 8 pm . The students were awe-struck by the serene beauty of the gleaming gold structure surrounded by the sacred Amrit Sarovar. On 10th January in the morning we were ready to see Jallianwala Bagh, first of all, in morning we took our breakfast - Chole Bhature with delicious tea and pickle. After that we reached at Jallian wala Bag, the historic site of the tragic 1919 massacre. The memorial evoked a sense of reverence as students learned about the sacrifices made during India's struggle for independence. We reached Golden Temple again to see how it looks like in the morning but we cannot describe its beauty in night. It was so mesmerizing that it cannot be described in words. The highlight of the tour was undoubtedly the visit to the Golden Temple. Some students participated in the langar, a community kitchen serving free meals, provided insight into Sikh values of selfless service and equality. Exploring the local cuisine allowed students to savour authentic Punjabi flavours, including the famous Amritsari kulcha. The bustling bazaars provided a glimpse into the city's cultural richness, allowing students to engage with local artisans and purchase souvenirs. We reached our college till 8:30 pm safely. Our teachers care us like their children in this tour. Our tour to Amritsar was not only a recreational excursion but also a valuable educational journey. It provided students with a deeper understanding of India's history, culture, and religious diversity. The experience fostered a sense of unity, respect, and appreciation for the rich tapestry of the country. Overall, the trip was a resounding success, leaving lasting memories and lessons for all students.
